Reflections

 

By doing this blog with the aim of proposing lesson plans and teaching materials we were able to unify ideas, organize them and create functional and easy-to-apply plans for distance classes or online. The proposals made by the colleagues greatly helped to expand and improve the knowledge already acquired, in addition to constantly remembering the detail that each stage of the process must take during the class and the adaptability that must be taken into account according to the age of the person being taught and his knowledge management. I personally think that the proposal of this blog is very useful for future classes that we teach because it will give us varied ideas either educational gamification or how to carry out the teaching process and learning. In addition to taking into account that distance education is largely through technological devices we must propose ways of integrating physical objects into the lesson so that the student can be able to size his knowledge and associate it with something practical. This blog was an interesting way to learn, reinforce and most importantly help each other to pay attention to everything and be aware of both our teaching process and the students' learning process.                                                                -  Lizbeth Oyuela

In my personal experience, the creation of a blog for teachers was motivated by the need to find specific and quality resources in times of urgency or when time was scarce, especially in the context of online classes. The task of selecting activities that were both effective and engaging for students was a challenge, given the plethora of options available. However, the process of curating and selecting resources allowed me to develop a set of tools and strategies that have significantly improved my teaching practice.

Teacher blogs offer a solution to this dilemma by providing an organized and structured platform where educators can find reliable and relevant resources for their classes. These blogs not only offer a carefully curated selection of educational materials but also provide guidance, tips, and practical suggestions for their implementation in the classroom.

In summary, teacher blogs play a crucial role in simplifying and optimizing the process of searching for and selecting educational resources while promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences among educators. These platforms are an invaluable resource for teachers seeking to enhance their teaching practice and enrich their students' learning experience.

My personal experience of creating this blog is that a teacher is not limited to the transmission of knowledge but also to collaboration and active participation. This blog was created in order to become a space for the exchange of ideas and collaboration, where you can explore educational strategies and resources. The blog will not only contribute to the advancement of education but also enrich the teacher’s own practice.

Like any creative process, the creation of an educational blog requires dedication to planning, selecting resources and interactive games, etc., so that the teacher can explore new ideas, tools, and platforms that can improve the practice.

In summary, this blog can become a space for the exchange of ideas and mutual support, which will allow me to grow and evolve continuously as an educator.

The process of creating this blog has been an enriching experience for me. From finding activities for lesson plans to sharing it with my colleagues. I consider this a nice activity that opens our minds to new learning opportunities, since we not only create content, but we can also observe the creations of other colleagues.

From my point of view I can say that it is a good way to share ideas, teaching resources and knowledge that benefit others in the teaching-learning process. Additionally, creating a blog provides a source of inspiration among teachers that allows for both personal and professional growth. Since the ideas presented may seem innovative and different to some and when implemented with students they can be very effective because each of the activities is carefully chosen to support the development of students' skills. While it is true, each of them has their own learning style, but that is the good thing about educational blogs, that in them we can find different activities that adapt to the needs and interests of the students.

Without a doubt, creating an educational blog has a large number of benefits, both for creators and readers. Through them we can enrich the educational experience, since together we contribute to the construction of an effective education for our students.
