®    Objective of the lesson: At the end of the lesson students will be able to identify and list the extended family members by choosing a famous tv family and presenting their members.

®    Sub-aims:

1.      Students will apply their previous knowledge about family members.

2.      Students will practice presenting extended family members.

Lead-in

-The teacher is going to greet his/her students.

-The teacher is going to set the rules of the class.

-The teacher is going to give instructions to the students for the first activity.

-The teacher is going to ask the students: ‘’Who is your best friend in your nuclear family?’’. And then, the teacher is going to ask his/her students to answer this question with a drawing of them with his/ her best friend.

-The teacher is going to show the Padlet wall and is going to ask some students about their kinship with the person that they drew.

-Students are going to greet their teacher.

-Students are going to listen to the teacher´s instructions.

-Students are going to draw the member of his/ her family that is his/ her best friend with paint app.

-Once they have finished their drawing they are going to upload it in Padlet for sharing.

-The teacher is going to introduce the topic, so to do, teacher is going to play a video, after this, the teacher is going to show a PowerPoint presentation to present the extended family members (Grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, cousin)

-The teacher is going to say the nuclear family members first, then is going to say it with the students and finally only the students are going to pronounce them.

-Students are going to pay attention observe each flashcard and practice the pronunciation together with the teacher.
